Bob, Liz and their boys have owned Killygarvan Farm since 1987. It is named after Killygarvan Farm in County Donegal, Ireland where Bob was born and raised and where his brothers still farm.
At Fitzroy, Bob and Liz raise mainly Black Angus cattle some of which are cross bred with Murray Grey which is a breed developed in Australia some 100 years ago. Both breeds are known for high quality, well marbled beef. At Killygarvan the animals are on pasture in summer and in winter are fed hay and grain.
